Jerold S. Goldberg, D.D.S. serves as Dean of the School of Dentistry and previously served as interim Dean of the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
About
Jerold S. Goldberg, D.D.S. trained at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals of Cleveland, and at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, NJ. Dr. Goldberg serves as Dean of the School of Dentistry and has served as interim Dean of the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He was also the interim Provost and University Vice President. A clinical researcher with extensive teaching experience at both the pre-professional and post-graduate levels, Dr. Goldberg directs much of his research into studies of facial pain and congenital facial deformities. As a result of his cross-over experiences in both medicine and dentistry, he brings a unique perspective to issues of educational reform and innovation. With broad professional service in professional organizations, including the ADA, ADEA, and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Goldberg has also been active in supporting international educational experiences for dentists and has been involved in a number of surgical missions to third world countries. He was knighted for his humanitarian efforts in Lithuania.
