Linda Niessen, D.M.D., M.P.H., M.P.P., serves as Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer for DENTSPLY International. In this role, she oversees the global clinical education and professional relations activities for the company. Dr. Niessen is a board certified public health dentist with additional training in geriatric dentistry. Active in the dental profession, Linda has served as president of the Dallas County Dental Society, American Association of Women Dentists, American Association of Public Health Dentistry, and Friends of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. Linda received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico and her dental degree (DMD), her Masters in Public Health degree (MPH) and her Masters in Public Policy degree (MPP), all from Harvard University. Linda has worked throughout her career in dental education and research, and now dental industry to develop programs and models that will improve the oral health of the public.
