The Santa Fe Group is pleased to share a leadership update as we continue advancing oral health through collaboration, convening, and driving meaningful change.

Judith Jones, D.D.S., M.P.H., D.Sc.D., has been named Vice President of the Santa Fe Group. In this role, she joins Dushanka V. Kleinman, D.D.S., M.Sc.D., President, and Ralph Fuccillo, M.A., Immediate Past President, in overseeing the organization’s strategic direction and ongoing initiatives.

Dr. Jones’ active involvement in addressing oral and general health integration, her work with Medicare, and her role as Chair, Governance Committee have shaped and strengthened the organization’s work. This appointment reflects her contributions to date and the confidence in her continued leadership moving forward.

As part of this transition, Elisa Chávez, D.D.S., M.S., will serve as Chair of the Governance Committee, contributing her leadership experience and perspective to the committee’s work and direction.

The Santa Fe Group also extends its sincere congratulations to Nader Nadershahi, D.D.S., M.B.A., Ed.D., on his recent appointment as Executive Director of the American Dental Association. We are grateful for and thank Dr. Nadershahi for his leadership, valued contributions and dedicated engagement over the years. We wish him continued success in this important role and look forward to the impact of his leadership on the future of oral health as an essential component of overall health.
