Andrew Snyder, M.P.A.
Andrew (Andy) Snyder, M.P.A., is a health insurance specialist with the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services, Division of Quality and Health Outcomes. He is the policy lead for the CMS Oral Health Initiative, which seeks to increase the proportion of Medicaid-enrolled children receiving preventive dental care. Before joining CMS in 2016, he worked on issues relating to the intersection of oral health and public programs in positions at the National Academy for State Health Policy, the Pew Children’s Dental Campaign, and the Wisconsin Medicaid program. He holds a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
