The Santa Fe Group’s mission is to be a catalyst for improving lives by focusing on critical issues in oral health, including health leadership, oral health equity, and oral health education and practice. As a national convener, the Group emphasizes the essential connection between oral health and overall health, advancing dialogue around oral-systemic integration, prevention, and equitable access to care. The information curated and shared highlights the current work of many stakeholders—researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and advocates—in hopes of stimulating further thought, policy innovation, and collaborations that contribute to strategies leading to health equity for all.
The Continuum on Health Integration serves as an online hub for webinars, position papers, and editorials that address the opportunities and challenges of medical–dental integration, Medicare dental benefits, and population-level prevention strategies. The benefits of embedding oral health into broader healthcare frameworks are limitless, from reducing chronic disease burden to strengthening equity in care delivery.
