Chris Smiley, D.D.S.
Christopher Smiley, DDS, holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Michigan and in 1986 earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Following graduation, along with his wife Dr. Colette Smiley, he joined in practice with his father, Dr. Harold Smiley, who founded his practice in 1948.
Dr. Smiley practices general dentistry with an emphasis on restorative care. He is trained in implant placement and restoration through Nobel Biocare and is a certified provider of Invisalign orthodontics
Dr. Smiley is a published author in professional journals and has lectured nationally on evidence-based dentistry, patient centered care, dental quality measurement, management of periodontal disease, and practice management and dental benefit plans. Dr. Smiley has been recognized for his continuing contributions to the dental profession, receiving Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is a past recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the West Michigan District Dental Society.
