Santa Fe Group Welcomes Dr. Zachary A. Brian as Fellow

The Santa Fe Group is proud to officially welcome Dr. Zach Brian as a Fellow. 

Dr. Brian has long been a champion of equity in oral health, with a career spanning public health, health policy, service-learning, and academic leadership. He currently serves as Associate Professor at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, where he directs both the Dentistry in Service to Community (DISC) program and the UNC Program for Oral Health Policy. 

A trusted voice in advancing community-based strategies and systemic change, Dr. Brian serves as co-lead of the Coalition for Oral Health Policy (COHP), in partnership with Dr. Ira B. Lamster. Inspired by the vision of the Santa Fe Group’s Strategic Advisory Council members and Founding Member, the late Dr. Michael C. Alfano, COHP was launched to amplify the Group’s commitment to advancing inclusive, forward-thinking health policy. Dr. Brian’s leadership has kept that mission in continued motion. 

As a Fellow, Dr. Brian brings invaluable experience, insight, and dedication that will further strengthen our collective efforts to drive change in oral health for all.
