Dr. Elisa Chávez Named 2026–2027 Health and Aging Policy Fellow
The Santa Fe Group congratulates Dr. Elisa Chávez, Governance Committee Chair and Board Member, on being selected as a 2026–2027 Health and Aging Policy Fellow.
The Health and Aging Policy Fellows (HAPF) Program prepares leaders from a wide range of disciplines to advance health policy and improve the health and well-being of older adults. The year-long fellowship provides participants with opportunities to strengthen their policy expertise, leadership skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration while contributing to the development and implementation of policies that support healthier aging.
Dr. Chávez joins a distinguished cohort of professionals representing medicine, dentistry, nursing, social work, and other fields who share a commitment to improving health through informed policy and collaborative leadership.
Her selection reflects the growing importance of integrating diverse perspectives to address today’s complex healthcare challenges. As Governance Committee Chair and a member of the Santa Fe Group Board of Directors, Dr. Chávez continues to provide valuable leadership in advancing the organization’s mission to promote oral health as an essential component of whole-person health.
