Mississippi’s New Medicaid Waiver Requires Enrollees to Make Less Than 27% FPL per Year
More states are seeking to impose work requirements for parents and caretaker relatives to obtain health coverage. Mississippi’s new waiver amendment to CMS requires enrollees to work at least 20 hours per week and earn less than 27% FPL per year. Federal comments can be submitted at Medicaid.gov.
