Santa Fe Group Fellow Dr. Zachary Brian Named Assistant Dean at UNC Adams School of Dentistry
The Santa Fe Group congratulates Fellow Dr. Zachary A. Brian on being named Assistant Dean for Community Partnerships and External Affairs at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry.
In his new role, Dr. Brian will lead efforts to strengthen partnerships across academic healthcare, public health systems, government, and local communities while advancing community-based care, innovative service-learning, and policies that improve access to healthcare.
Dr. Brian has long been recognized as a leader in oral health policy, public health, and community engagement. He also served a leadership role in the Santa Fe Group’s 2026 National Convening, contributing to discussions and collaborations focused on advancing oral health as an essential component of whole-person health.
His appointment reflects the growing importance of collaboration across healthcare, education, and community organizations to improve health outcomes and expand access to care. These priorities closely align with the Santa Fe Group’s mission to advance oral health through leadership, partnership, and systems-level change.
